From Our Certificate of Formation
The purposes for which the Corporation is organized are:
(i) to support the youth of Saint Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church in Houston, Texas through the granting of scholarships and the funding of participation in activities of social benefit,
(ii) to maintain a fund or funds of real or personal property, or both, and (subject to the restrictions and limitations hereinafter set forth) to distribute the whole or any part of the income or principal thereof exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary or educational purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended and
(iii) to engage in any lawful activity for which nonprofit corporations may be organized under the laws of the State of Texas.
